Dayspring stands with Israel in prayers, financial support and information to change the heart of hostility against the people and the land of our Lord's chosing. It is our desire that the fulfillment of God promise to Abram in Genesis 12 will be realized. "I will make you a great nation; I will bless you and make your name great; and you shall be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you...and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed."

"My heart is steadfast, O God; I will sing and make music with all my soul. Awake, harp and lyre! I will awaken the dawn. I will praise you, O LORD, among the nations; I will sing of you among the peoples. For great is your love, higher than the heavens; your faithfulness reaches to the skies. Be exalted, O God, above the heavens, and let your glory be over all the earth. Save us and help us with your right hand that those you love may be delivered. God has spoken from his sanctuary: "In triumph I will parcel out Shechem and measure off the Valley of Succoth. Gilead is mine, Manasseh is mine; Ephraim is my helmet, Judah my scepter. Moab is my washbasin, upon Edom I toss my sandal; over Philistia I shout in triumph." Who will bring me to the fortified city? Who will lead me to Edom? Is it not you, O God, you who have rejected us and no longer go out with our armies? Give us aid against the enemy, for the help of man is worthless. With God we will gain the victory, and he will trample down our enemies." (Psalm 108:1-13)

PRAYER UPDATE FROM ISRAEL
HAMAS GOT HI-TECH WEAPONS IN BORDER BREACH: Yuval Diskin, head of Israel's domestic intelligence said "massive" amounts of sophisticated weaponry had been brought into Gaza during the breach of its border with Egypt. Diskin also warned the open borders had allowed the return of terrorists from Iran, Syria and Egypt. He said these highly trained people would contribute to the improvement of terrorist activities in Gaza. (Haaretz) "I will send fire upon the walls of Gaza that will consume her fortresses." Amos 1:7
HEZBOLLAH WEAPONS AND TACTICS IN GAZA: Underground rocket launchers in Gaza are being operated by remote control enabling projectiles to be activated from a distance. Hezbollah forces have used similar tactics in Lebanon. Additionally, Iran is supplying jihadists in Gaza with weaponry similar to that it makes available to Hezbollah. (INN)

PLEASE PRAY . . .PRAYER REQUESTS:
* First and foremost: Please keep praying for real and lasting safety and security for Israelis and Palestinians on both sides of the border, and peace for Jerusalem and all of the epicenter, that the war will not spread to the North and East. (Psalm 122:6)
* Also, please pray for true justice to be done. Let's ask the Lord to save the souls of all the Hamas leaders and fighters, just as He has saved the soul of the son of the Hamas leader. But at the same time, please be praying for the success of the Israeli Defense Forces to have success in crushing the Hamas terror infrastructure and liberating the Palestinian people. This is not the openly declared goal of the IDF, but this is my prayer. Remember: Hamas fighters have slaughtered Christians in Gaza. They blew up the Palestinian Bible Society book store in Gaza. They throw their enemies off of high rise apartment buildings. They steal money and relief supplies that are supposed to help suffering widows and orphans. They are cruel, evil people. Pray that the Israeli forces truly turn to the Lord God of Israel and seek His power, His strength, and His victory. "Contend, O Lord, with those who contend with me; fight against those who fight with me....Let those be turned back and humiliated who devise evil against me." (Psalm 34:1,4)
* Please pray that not a single innocent Israeli or Palestinian civilian is killed from this point forward. "The Lord...is patient toward you," wrote the Apostle Peter, "not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance." (2 Peter 3:9)
* Please pray for those who have been wounded on both sides, and for the family and friends of those who have been killed on both sides of the conflict. Pray that the Lord would bring them supernatural comfort and healing. Pray that they will turn to the God who said through the Prophet Isaiah, "the Lord has annointed me to bring good news to the afflicted; He has sent me to bink up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and freedom to the prisoners...to comfort all who mourn, to grant those who mourn in Zion...the oil of gladness instead of mourning." (Isaiah 61-3)
* Please pray for the Israeli and Palestinian pastors and their congregations to have wisdom to know best how to love their neighbors and love their enemies, as Jesus commands -- and pray that they can help those who are suffering on both sides discover God's true and transformative love and plan for their lives.
*Please pray for all those providing help for Israeli families suffering in the war zone. Pray, too, that ways can be found to care for Palestinians, as our heart goes out to both sides.
Jesus said in John 14:15, "If you love me, you will obey what I command." The Lord commanded us to love our neighbors. He commanded us to bless the people of Israel in real and practical ways, including to feed those who have no food. We are seeking to obey in the power of the Holy Spirit.
*FOR FAITHFULNESS AND PERSEVERANCE IN THE BODY OF MESSIAH IN ISRAEL TO WORSHIP IN SPIRIT AND IN TRUTH DURING THIS TIME. WE BELIEVE THAT GOD HAS SHOWN US THAT AS WORSHIP RISES TO THE KING OF KINGS, THE POWERS OVER THE NATIONS ATTACKING US ARE THROWN INTO CONFUSION.
GOD NEVER CHANGED THE SABBATH
by Sid Roth http://www.sidroth.org/newman.htm
God never changed the day for the Sabbath (in Hebrew, Shabbat). The biblical Sabbath begins at sundown on Friday and ends at sundown on Saturday. Many of the early church leaders who originally changed the observance of the Sabbath day to Sunday were anti-Semitic. Justin Martyr, early in the second century, in his dialog with Trypho the Jew said, “It was by reason of your sins and the sins of your fathers that, among other precepts, God imposed upon you the observance of the Sabbath as a mark.” This mark, he proposed, was to single the Jewish people out for the punishment they so well deserved for their infidelities.
Instead of recognizing that Jesus Himself said that “the Sabbath was made for man,” (Mark 2:27) the Sabbath was seen as part of the curse of that hated and despised race, the Jews. The post–apostolic church instituted another day of worship (Sunday) to separate themselves from all things Jewish. Their claim was to recognize the day of resurrection but this claim opposed what God had instituted in Genesis 2:1-3 at creation and nowhere do the Scriptures show that God changed His mind.
So what does this mean to us today? Freedom is the key New Covenant word. You are free to worship God on any day of the week, however, there is a great blessing in celebrating the Sabbath (Isaiah 58:13,14.) Also the human body was designed to need a day of rest. Frankly, I do not rest when I go to church on Sunday. But I do enjoy relaxing, not working and being with God and family on the Sabbath (Saturday).
The Saturday Sabbath was observed by the first church. It will be practiced in the Millennium (Ezekiel 45:17). So why should we lose the blessing now just because the day was changed by church leaders centuries ago?
