Dayspring Harvest Ministries is a open fellowship :
- Open to the Lord and the moving of the Holy Spirit
- Open to each other and expressed needs. It is not unusual for spontaneous prayers to be offered on behalf of one another. Opportunity is given for testimonies and praise reports to be shared.
- Open to the community and the ongoing work of our area. Our desire is to see revival, restoration, and renewal as a life style in Ellwood City and surrounding region.
Dayspring is located at 316 Sixth Street in a large, blue frame building one block from the main street of Ellwood City and across from the Municiple Building. We own and are renovating a 17,000 sq.ft. commericial building.
Our Sunday Morning services begin at 10 am and is a warm, family style fellowship. Relevant messages that often have a prophetic edge for the season we are in are brought by the pastor. To encourage and assist in training others from within the fellowship are asked to share as well. Various speakers from around the region, the nation and the world are welcomed as God brings them in.
A dedicated Christian staff have put together a wonderful and inspiring Children's Church Ministry. The ministry has classes that are age appropriate. The Bible in Felt is used to teach the children in an eye-appealing and fun way. The kids love to "help" put on the people and animals! Material from interdenominational publishing houses are also used. Each week during the Sunday worship time crafts, snacks, music, prayer and other act ivies are included to teach valuable life lessons. In a fast paced, technological society, we value one on one time with our young learners. We value communication with them by singing, laughing, listening, playing, teaching, and learning together.
A fully equipped nursery is also available for children two and under. They have their own restroom facility in the nursery. The nursery has many toys, a TV and video player with Veggie Tales and other videos, books, table & chairs and more!
Sunday evening services are held at 7 pm when announced.
Prayer meeting every Wednesday night at 7 PM.

He leads me beside the still waters, He restores my soul...
Come and SOAK in God's presence. It's all in The Plan. In the beginning God created man and woman. His greatest joy was the close fellowship (or communion) He had with them as they walked and talked together in the garden, enjoying the cool of the day. But it didn't last.
Satan brought sin into the world and broke that precious, intimate relationship. So man began to search for something to fill the emptiness in his heart. Thank God that Jesus came and restored mankind into relationship with the Father. Now the Holy Spirit comes to soften our hearts, re-kindle our love for our heavenly Dad and make us ready for a new love relationship. This time, as the Bride of Christ, with Jesus as our husband.
The marriage feast of Jesus is coming closer. This is what these "soaking sessions" are all about: Us being cleansed, prepared and anointed, just as Queen Esther did before her meeting with the King (she prepared herself by soaking in precious bath oils for a period of six months before her meeting with the King of Persia. The favor she gained meant the salvation of the nation of Israel.) It's simply us coming to be with our Father, no shipping lists, no agendas, just ourselves being still in His arms of love.
So come and settle down, relax and enjoy a good long soak! There will be no corporate worship, Bible teaching, prayer or counseling at these soaking prayer sessions. The session will be prayerfully overseen to help create a safe place for you.
Dayspring generally tries to post Intentional Soaking times monthly. Call the office at 724-752-8447 for scheduled dates.
Women's Prayer & Share:
We meet the 3rd Monday of each month at 7 PM for women who work or prefer and evening out. Teachings, a video, or just plain "girl-talk" takes place.
Sarah Costa is the contact person and can be reached at 724-758-4490.

PLEASE JOIN US FOR ONE HOUR OF PRAYER IN THE DOWNSTAIRS FELLOWSHIP ROOM. WE WILL START PROMPTLY AT 7 PM AND END AT 8 PM. THOSE WANTING TO STAY LONGER MAY DO SO.
Jesus said in Matthew 26:40 "What? Could you not watch with Me one hour?"
If that is the least we can do, let's start there!

Shabbat Fellowship:
The first Friday of each month is set aside for a time for anyone who loves Israel or desires to learn more about our Jewish roots. We will enjoy a meal and spend family time together. Bring a casserole and or dessert to share with each other. Each month is different!
Starting October 2 we will embark on a series called Hayesod - The Foundations.
The HaYesod program is composed of ten compelling lessons that explore the foundational truths of the entire Word of God from a Hebraic perspective. Lessons are taught from locations throughout the land of Israel and from the studious setting of a messianic beit midrash ("house of study").
What is a Christian's connection to Israel? A believer living in the Greek city of Corinth 1900 years ago would have replied, "I am a part of the greater people of Israel; I worship with his people; the Jewish Messiah is my Messiah; the God of Israel is my God."
Back then, things were more defined. Belief in the Messiah of Israel meant that you came alongside Israel. Today, one can boldly accept the God of Israel and proclaim the Jewish Messiah as one's Savior, but completely separate oneself from the land, the people, and Scriptures of Israel.
The HaYesod discipleship program attempts to restore believers to their relationship with the promised land, the historic people of God, and the Scriptures of the Jewish people. Knowing the Jewish foundation of Christianity deepens the faith of the believer, clarifies the meaning of the Bible, and reveals God's purpose for all of his people.
Paul states, "Do we then overthrow the law by this faith? By no means! On the contrary, we uphold the law" (Romans 3:31).
See the Scriptures from a new (actually, very old) perspective. This eye-opening Bible study presents the Scriptures in their historic, linguistic, and cultural contexts, preserving the essential Hebraic understanding of the entire Word of God.
The HaYesod Discipleship Course
- Excites and strengthens students' faith in and devotion to Jesus the Messiah.
- Reconciles Christian faith with its roots.
- Restores the biblical heritage of believers in Messiah within the greater people of Israel.
- Connects people to the land of Israel, teaching biblical truths from the land of the Bible.
- Encourages all believers to live holy and godly lives while we wait for the return of our Messiah.

Outreach:
Dayspring offers outdoor Movie Night for the community during the late spring and summer. Here are a couple pictures recently taken. One is getting prepared by putting up the outdoor screen and the crowd beginning to assemble. During the winter the movies will be shown indoors. Children's matinees are on Saturday.
